1966 GTO Convertible

Serial Number:  237676K108691

We have been informed by several people that this is not a factory GTO; that the serial number shows it to be a Tempest LeMans Convertible.  Apparantly over the years it has had GTO badges added.  Bidders must rely on their own inspection of the car to determine what they believe it to be.

We will change our advertising as possible to reflect this information, however, most of the brochures are printed and mailed and the print advertising in place.
Thank you to the people who brought this to our attention, it is not our intention to mislead anyone, we just assumed the badging was accurate.

1965 GTO

According to our research, in 1965 GTO was an option of the Tempest Lemans and did not have the "42" designation that the 1966 and later GTO's had.  We believe this to be a factory GTO, however, potential bidders must do their own research prior to bidding.

Serial Number from Title 237675P134074

Here are additional pics of the GTO.  Note that we have an engine we believe to be a "correct" engine for the car.  It will sell immediately after the car so whoever buys the car will have a chance at an engine with a build date prior to the build date of the car if they want it.  Our information tells us that the engine in the car now has a build date later than the car.

1963 Chevy 2 door hardtop in original condition.  This is a nice one, paint is typical of the GM paint in that era, good primer but pretty thin on the color.  This car appears to us to be complete, original, unmolested and a fine driver or candidate for restoration.  The body is excellent with the exception of a little smack on the right front fender above the lights that would be an easy fix.  Even the upholstery is good except for the front seat.  As with all these cars, they have been well stored, there is no mouse smell and no sign of rodent damage, no cats building nests in them and no pigeons in the warehouse.  Doug took good care of these cars.  By the way, when is the last time you saw one of these with that radio arial on the back that wasn't broken off?
This is a sleeper!!

You can just barely see the floor shift knob behind the steering wheel but it's there!

1988 Nissan 300 ZX -- this was one of Doug's drivers and should be a good car for the road.  These are also getting more and more collectible all the time.  This shows 91,000 miles, which is just getting broken in for these cars, it has a manual transmission and is very clean and nice.
