#388 Ballard Photos Pg 1

FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON THE WEB SITE DROPPED ALL THE PICS OF THE 55 RED AND WHITE CHEVY BELAIR.  IT SOLD FOR $21,000 AND WENT TO BOZEMAN.

ELDORADO SOLD $18000

HERE IT IS RUNNING, DRIVING AND WITH THE TOP DOWN!!! I PUT ABOUT 15 MILES ON IT TODAY AND THIS IS VIRTUALLY A NEW ELDORADO!! NONE NICER ANYWHERE!!!

SOLD $15000

Here is every boy's dream from the 1950's - the 1956 Ford Crown Victoria.  This one is a fine example, well restored from a nice original.  The 292 V8 should run like new, the paint and interior show that this car was bought as an investment, not a driver.  The chrome and stainless are virtually perfect, the interior is like the day it came home from the shop except for a little fading on the floor mats.  There are a few paint chips at the back corners of the hood where it was not closed right a few times, they would be easy to touch up and you would have a driver, driver, driver.

SOLD $20,500

We have sold a lot of collector cars and I have been to a lot of auctions where they sold collector cars but I have never seen one of these before at an auction.  This is a 1956 Pontiac Star Chief convertible with a later Cadillac engine -- probably late 50's -- installed.  What a CAR!!  It is just huge and yet looks very stylish and drivable.  It has had a lot of work done to it, it will need a little more TLC to get it up to what you will want it to be, mostly the top mechanism will need repair.

The top motor is in the trunk but it is missing the cylinders and some hoses to make it all work.  We may find those hoses when we are setting up the auction.  The top is new and looks very nice when it's up but has to
be put up and down by hand, the power top doesn't work as it is.
A rare and desirable car.

THERE ARE RECENTLY ADDED PICTURES OF THIS CAR ON PAGE THREE.  I AM HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE WEB SITE DUMPING PICTURES SO ADDED THE NEW PICS OF THIS ON PAGE THREE.  Go to page three and scroll down to the bottom.  They show the trunk area, the top bows, top mechanism, etc.  You will be amazed at the condition of the trunk area.  Most convertibles are rust buckets from the top storage well back.  Not this one!!!!

SOLD $24,000

1957 Chevy 2 Dr Hardtop, older restoration but still a nice car.  Been inside forever, I'm not sure when it was last driven but it should be ready to take home after it goes through our shop before the auction.
The paint is nice, the interior is good, it's a driver the way it is.
Small block and four speed.
Comes with fuzzy dice already installed.  They were an option on every really cool car of the 50's.  There are more pictures of this car on the other pages.

SOLD $8,000

This was Doug's truck that he drove and kept as his pride and joy.  It is a 1994 Chevy 3/4 ton with a 454 "Marine" engine.  A beautiful pickup in immaculate condition.  We took it for a drive and it drives like a new truck.  Not a flaw in the paint or interior anywhere.

SOLD $2,600

1966 Buick LeSabre Convertible with a 375 Wildcat V8 under the hood, factory air and showing low miles which look like they are probably correct.  This is a car not often seen and would make a great driver for somebody.  Big, with lots of Buick style and quality from the days when Buick made cars to be proud of.

SOLD $9,600

If you grew up and were car crazy in the 60's like kids were then, you know what this is.  This was the drool car for everybody who liked to go fast and look good.  This one is a worthy project, all complete, pretty solid, looks like a pretty easy restoration of an unmolested car.  It's got a couple squirts of primer where somebody was going to do some body work and the top has holes, the interior is rough but look at the potential!!!  A liberal application of love and elbow grease and this would be a sweetheart!!  You can own it October 9th.

Here is the great find of the warehouse.  Sitting under a blanket of dust from years of storage, we didn't pay much attention to this little 55 Chev 2 Dr hardtop until we got it out.  This car is solid, solid, solid!!  The floors are pretty good, the sides are straight, she's clean and pretty under the hood with a 6 banger that probably runs.  If you have been looking for one of these, look no further, this is the car.  The right front fender has been done, the trunk lid has been done, there has been some work done under the hood and the grill in in the trunk.  This is the best unrestored 55 I have seen in ten years.

More pictures of the cars are coming -- check back!!!
