When it comes to collector cars, this is the American Icon; the 57 Chevy 2 door hardtop. The only thing that can be cooler than this is a convertible and that varies with the person deciding the Cool factor. This is a nice one, older restoration, small block with a 4 speed, the correct era wheels and some of that really cool 70's vintage upholstery. This is a driver, all it needs now is a new owner.
SOLD $4,400
Doug's dad, Floyd, bought this little Ford pickup when it was just a year or two old and drove it to work and for his fishing truck for many years. Some where along the way it got a later 6 cylinder and a four speed installed. It is straight and pretty much totally rust free, it's been inside the warehouse for years. It is a great little survivor. It had a 6 from new but there are some 272 and 292 engines in the auction if you wanted to a V8 in it. It is actually green under the oxidation of the paint, there has been no repaint. I love the hood ornament, it is off an early 50's Dodge, the original RAM!

SOLD $3,750
Here is Gramma's 53 Chevy Belair Two door hardtop. This was a spiffy car in it's day and one that is hard to find in original condition these days. This one is pretty much just like it came from the factory except for a little age on it. It does have a little rust along the trim on the right hand side. 6 cylinder, 3 speed, nice interior for the age of the car and with a little work could be a nice survivor car.
This is a 1968 Plymouth Fury III. It's a nice car - would be a great daily driver or an excellent entry level collector car. Buy this for your daughter or granddaughter and let her shine it up, spiff a few things and drive it. We think the missing hubcap will show up and the rest of it should be easy. These were great cars and while most people will wish this was a 2 door hardtop, this is a fine example of what America used to build for the general public. Solid, dependable, roomy, easy to fix and never needed much fixing. It's hard for us older guys to realize this car is 40 years old, it seems like only yesterday they were all over --- just try to find a nice one now!!
Just look at the condition of the interior!!!!
This pickup was Doug's Pride and Joy. It is a 1994 Chevy 4 x 4 with a 454 Marine engine. Mint condition, about 150,00 on it and ready to go. Excellent rubber, like new under the hood and in the box. I suppose there might be one as nice out there somewhere but this is as nice as I have ever seen for the age. We have driven this some, what a great truck!!

These are the additional pictures of the 56 Pontiac convertible. I dunno why they wouldn't stay up on the other page. This is NICE!!! Virtually no rust, all the top mechanism is there, even the bottom of the spare tire well is nice. You'll be hard pressed to ever find another one of these in anywhere near this condition. The top motor is there and there are a few hoses but it all needs to be put together and maybe needs some work on it. That's an easy fix.
We worked on the top and the top motor needs to be replaced. Other than that the car is good to go. Probably will need the brakes worked on some to be a driver but it runs good, sounds good, has amazed everybody who has come to look it over with how solid it is. Rare car. They didn't make many of these and very, very, very few have survived.
